Dr. Bunch is an Alumni Professor of Agricultural Education in the College of Agriculture. Dr. Bunch’s current research interests are technology integration and technology-enhanced instruction by teachers/trainers in K-12, post-secondary, and the workforce, the effects of technology on learner’s achievement and motivation, and contextualized teaching and learning. His teaching focuses on teaching methodologies at the graduate and undergraduate levels, youth development organizations, and laboratory instruction and management. Prior to his appointment at Louisiana State University (July, 2012), Dr. Bunch served as a graduate teaching and research associate at Oklahoma State University while working on his Ph.D. in Agricultural Education with an emphasis in teacher education.
Before joining Oklahoma State University in 2009, Dr. Bunch taught secondary agricultural science for five years in Oklahoma. In his role as an agricultural science teacher and FFA advisor, Dr. Bunch advised several successful CDE teams, livestock exhibitors, and public speakers. In addition, Dr. Bunch’s FFA chapters received 3-star, gold emblem chapter ratings by the National FFA Organization on two different occasions during his five years as an agricultural science teacher.
