LSU Interim Associate Dean for Distance Learning and Leadership and endowed professor, Dr. Ed Holton, has been name Interim Director of SHREWD.
Dr. Holton brings 30 years of experience in HRD/OD as a practitioner, professor, author, speaker and consultant. The author of 17 books that have been translated into 12 different languages, he has received numerous top awards as a professor for his research and practice. He is widely acknowledged as a global expert on the transfer of learning.
The LSU School of Human Resource Education & Workforce Development (SHREWD) offers programs dedicated to producing world class practitioners, leaders, and instructors in two areas of focus: Agricultural Education & Human Resource and Leadership Development.

The College of Human Sciences & Education (CHSE) is a nationally accredited division of LSU. Formed in 2012, CHSE brings together programs and capitalizes on individual strengths to create a dynamic new college that addresses the socially significant issues we face as a state and nation. The College is comprised of the School of Education, the School of Human Resource Education and Workforce Development, the School of Kinesiology, the School of Library and Information Science, the School of Social Work, and the University Laboratory School. These combined schools offer a 8 undergraduate degree programs and 18 graduate programs, enrolling more than 1,900 undergraduate and 977 graduate students.
