Assessment in Residential Life
Assessment of our performance as a department is achieved through a number of mechanisms including an annual resident satisfaction survey through Educational Benchmarking, Inc, internal surveys, statistical reports, and data collected through both qualitative and quantitative research. The collection/reporting methods used have been categorized according to the departmental strategic plan, available above, which centers around five main goals and targeted performance indicators within those goals.
Learning: Strengthen and further integrate Living-Learning components in residential communities
Communication: Communicate the value of our people, programs, facilities, and services to our stakeholders
Sustainability: Promote stewardship of resources within our community in support of global environmental sustainability
Development: Seek creative alternatives for funding and support of residential programs and services
Improvement: Use assessment, evaluation, and implementation for continuous improvement of our people, programs, facilities, and services
