The National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) is an organization comprised of the top one percent of student leaders involved in life on campus. NRHH recognizes the outstanding achievements of the people working and living on campus including residents, exec staff members, RAs, Residential Life staff, faculty, custodians, and anyone else impacting residents.
Through NRHH’s four primary goals – leadership, academics, recognition, and service – the organization works to make people feel appreciated for their work and better the campus and greater community through recognition, awards, and community events like Toys for Tots collections and school supplies collection drives.
NRHH is a national organization, and the LSU NRHH is in the sub-branch SWACURH, or the South West Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls. Members of LSU RHA and LSU NRHH have the opportunity to travel to conferences in addition to their campus work.
Get involved at NRHH’s weekly meetings in the Council Room the LSU Student Union every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
One of the biggest responsibilities of the NRHH is to identify and submit people and programs for Of The Month awards (OTMs), although anyone can submit a nomination. OTMs recognize individuals in the halls for achievements above and beyond normal work and for having a great impact on campus life.
