Visitor Center Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am to 5:30pm

Visitor Parking: Visitors to campus can park in the metered parking spaces located throughout campus, including the Parking Garage on East Campus Drive. Metered parking is $1.50 an hour and is in effect weekdays from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. Visitors may purchase a temporary parking permit for parking in the Commuter A and X lots on campus for $10 a day. Campus parking and driving restrictions are in effect weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

For LSU staff, students and campus guests: the Visitor Center can help with parking arrangements for you and your guests. Visitor Center staff can have parking permits ready in advance so that you can mail them to your guests or have them ready for immediate pick-up when they arrive on campus. The Visitor Center can also handle parking arrangements for large conferences, seminars, or meetings that you plan to hold at LSU.

Reserved parking for guests can also be arranged for your VIPs by validating a metered space or reserving a space in a reserved lot.

The center also continues to issue permits up to five days a year at no charge for students or employees who forget their permit or leave it in another vehicle.
