Louisiana Business & Technology Center Hosts Latin American Entrepreneurs for the “LA Idea” Incubator Program
The Louisiana Business & Technology Center, or LBTC, recently hosted Latin American entrepreneurs from Chile, Peru, Columbia and Mexico for a two-week, specialized training session. The visitors were participants in the Latin American Idea Partnership, or “LA Idea,” Incubator Program, which was designed to support new, innovative companies with high-growth potential.

The U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack recently visited the Louisiana Business & Technology Center at the LSU Innovation Park to meet with St. James Technologies, or SJTechs, in celebration of National Manufacturing Day. SJTechs is an electronics design and contract manufacturer that specializes in sensors and industrial applications.
The LSU Student Incubator awarded $25,000 cash to five student-run startups during the culmination of the third-annual Venture Challenge on April 25.
