EBSCO recently re-designed the official LOUIS logo. There are five variations. LOUIS considered logo with the URL (#4) to be its official, primary logo.
The logos provided here are samples, sized at 225 x 75 pixels. You can right click and “Save Image as” to use these logos or submit a FootPrint with these specifications: selected logo, size needed, and background-white or transparent.
EBSCO created a web button based on the re-designed logo. You may use these buttons and link them to the LOUIS homepage. It is available in three sizes: 100×50, 150×75, and 200×200 If you need the image file, please submit a FootPrint and indicate which size is needed.
Karen Niemla from the University of Louisiana at Monroe also created a web button for our partners’ use. If you require the image file or a size larger than 150×50, please submit a FootPrint.
A LOUIS favicon–a shortcut icon–is also available. It utilizes the blue state found in all versions of the LOUIS logo. The standard size is 16×16 pixels. The image available here is 64×64 pixels with a transparent background; it can be sized down, as needed.
EBSCO has provided LOUIS with a radio spot which can be adapted for member libraries.
They have provided two sample scripts. The first script can be adapted using the library name. The second script is a more generic script used in a radio spot recorded for LOUIS.

The Brochure Task Force was tasked with defining the target audiences for two brochures and identifying content to put into a brochure specific to each audience. LOUIS Staff worked with EBSCO to design the brochure(s) and the BTF reviewed and recommended the final layout, message, and content.
The two targeted audiences defined by the BTF were 1) students and 2) legislators, administrators, faculty, and staff. For students, the BTF worked with EBSCO to design a bookmark that can be provided the LOUIS library patrons.
Initially, a small quantity of the bookmarks will be printed and provided to LOUIS libraries. A PDF has also been made available so LOUIS libraries can print their own, as needed. Click the bookmark to access and save the file. Submit a FootPrints incident to request the image files.
Some vendors offer free, customizable promotional tools to libraries that subscribe to their product(s). Some tools are product-specific, so if you are looking to promote a newly acquired or implemented product, like EDS, this is the place to go!
We have provided a link to partnering vendors’ promotional portals. Each vendor may have different requirements and guidelines. Please read the vendor’s website carefully for more details.
