The LSU Office of the Dean of Students is proud to present the Tiger Twelve Class of 2014 who will be honored Saturday, April 26, in a ceremony on campus:
Tiger Twelve is an honor the Office of the Dean of Students has presented to 12 Seniors each year since 2003. Students selected as members of the Tiger Twelve are current, full-time students, who have a GPA of at least 2.5 and have exemplified the seven basic principles outlined in the LSU Commitment to Community. The Commitment to Community is a statement of position regarding LSU’s basic principles as an academic community. A committee of students, faculty, and staff crafted it in 1995 to state the expectations for each LSU community member. This year, faculty and staff nominated a record-breaking 300 students. This class of twelve best exemplified the Commitment to Community through their written applications and interviews with a panel of LSU professionals.
