Domain Names and Redirects

The domain name for  WordPress sites will start with http://sites01.lsu.edu/wps/ or http://sites01.lsu.edu/wp/.  Redirects can be done for a lsu.edu address, but special publishing will not be set up to force the WordPress domain name to go away.

Roles and Permissions

There is a plug-in connecting to Shibboleth that uses Active Directory group memberships to map groups to the subscriber role.  Editor, Author, Admin and Contributor are roles that will be manually added.

Authentication

Users with PAWS IDs will be able to login to their sites using their PAWS IDs and passwords.  Access can be given to those without PAWS IDs – they will be assigned WordPress IDs and passwords.
