In addition to traditional teaching, my collaborator Ty Wagner (USGS) and I currently have several travel-ready workshop offerings geared toward fisheries science and quantitative ecology (as well as an introduction to LaTeX workshop).  As a practitioner of R, I see great value in use and collaboration of R software and look forward to teaching it to existing courses, departments, agencies, and other groups.  Workshops are fully customizable, based on a group’s experience and interest, and can take place from one afternoon to multiple days.

Available workshop themes (can be combined):

  1. Introduction to R
  2. Data management and manipulation in R
  3. Linear modeling in R
  4. Multilevel models in R
  5. Bayesian methods in R with JAGS
