Graduate Library & Information Science Student Association (GLISSA)
GLISSA is the SLIS organization that represents all our students. Every SLIS student is a member, whether they are taking classes in Baton Rouge or through distance education. Officers are elected by the students to plan events and work with the SLIS faculty. GLISSA members are appointed to serve on SLIS Faculty Committees and officers are invited to attend SLIS Faculty Meetings.
