On October 29, 2015, at approximately 1:30 am LSU Police received a report of an armed robbery that had taken place in the gravel parking lot near Residential College. The victim told officers that he was sitting in his vehicle in the lot and was approached by three suspects, described by the victim as black males, one of which was armed with a firearm. The suspects took the personal items belonging to the victim. The victim further advised that at one point he was punched in the face by one of the suspects and that the suspects then fled north of campus on bicycles. The victim sustained only minor injuries from being punched. This incident is still currently under investigation.
