The armed robbery of an individual is reported in the area of Chase Bank, Highland at State Street. Suspect is a black male wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Baton Rouge City Police and LSU Police are in the area. Use caution.
An armed robbery was reported at Maestri Street (north of Aster Street) and Highland Road on August 31, 2011, at 3AM. The suspect was carrying a revolver and is a black male, approximately 5’9”, 190 pounds, wearing an LSU purple shirt with gold piping.
Though this incident occurred off-campus, please remain aware of your surroundings. The vigilance of our community will help us all maintain a safe campus.

On August 22, 2011, 40 yo Starla Whitehead of 27841 Lake Shore Drive, Walker, Louisiana, was arrested and charged with violating LRS 14:72 FORGERY (6 counts), LRS 14:67 THEFT (>$300.), LRS 14:67.16 IDENTITY THEFT and CCRP FUGITIVE; transported and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Between July 23, 2011 and July 26, 2011, the female displayed below used stolen checks at
multiple retailers in the cities of Walker and Zachary, Louisiana.

On June 8, 2010, a burglary occurred on the campus of LSU. The male displayed in the images below used credit cards stolen during the burglary at various retailers in Baton Rouge. The male is known to frequent the Mall of Louisiana and is described as 5’11″-6′ tall, with multiple tattoos to include some displayed on his arm(s) and neck.

On the afternoon of Saturday, January 30th, 2010, a white male with black hair, wearing a green jacket, blue jeans and dark colored work style boots presented and identified himself as an LSU Police Officer to persons visiting the LSU Student Union. This male requested identification from the victims and walked away with their State issued driver’s licenses.

On May 10, 2011, Harrell Wade of Columbia, South Carolina, was arrested and charged with violating LRS 14:67.3 Unauthorized Use of an Access Card as Theft.
