March – May 2014
LSU Online offers a course template with all the essentials for quality instructional design and development. Rarely, however, is the potential of the course template fully realized. For this reason, you are invited to the “LSU Online Moodle Intricacies” workshop!
This hands-on workshop is particularly tailored for new LSU Online faculty members, but all are welcome to attend. Participants will learn how to use the LSU Online Moodle Template. Topics include:
- Setting the tone in the Getting Started section of the course
- Selecting and using activities in Moodle to maximize student learning outcomes
- Providing just-in-time feedback to students
We look forward to seeing you at the workshop.
Are you interested in transferring your face-to-face course assessments to an online platform? Would you like to see demos of how other faculty members designed and facilitated their online courses, including the use of social media? Have you ever wondered how the LSU Libraries can support your online courses? This Brown Bag Panel Session promises to offer insight all of these questions and more. Discussion will follow the short 15-minute presentations comprising the panel session.
