Louisiana State Rally is an annual event held in the spring (typically April) of each year when participating students from grades 8th-12th compete in literary, performance, and open events. The 105th annual State Rally will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 on Louisiana State University’s campus in Baton Rouge, LA.
Every year, the Louisiana State University campus eagerly anticipates the Louisiana High School Rally. In addition to attracting some of the best and brightest high school students in our state, it also gives educators the chance to get a glimpse of Louisiana’s future in the twenty-first century.
The finest of tomorrow’s leaders, thinkers, and artists converge on our campus for this one-day event, in the spirit of camaraderie and competition. They come to State Rally engaged by the challenge to both excel and gain knowledge in their given field of study. At LSU, we endeavor to inspire students with the same enthusiasm for education that these participants have demonstrated through their successes at District Rallies. Regardless of the outcome of State Rally, these students have already shown us their propensity for moving beyond the parameters of potential to academically advance further than they had ever imagined.
