Since we were established in 2010 we have assisted 103 businesses comprised of 121 LSU students. 28 of those startups are operating today with 21 having graduated from the LSU Student Incubator. All 21 graduate businesses have remained in Louisiana. The companies currently in and graduated from the Student Incubator have raised $2,845,000 in capital.

July 2013 The Business Report printed an article on the success of the Louisiana Business & Technology Center Student Incubator, particularly highlighting HitLights which got its start at the LBTC Student Incubator in 2010
March 2013 The Baton Rouge entrepreneurial community responded strongly to the 2008 financial crisis. The following article highlights the successes of the LBTC Innovation Park including the Student Incubator.
August 2012 This write up announces the launch of Yellow Jacket, LLC, a non-lethal self-defense device built in to the case for an iPhone. Co-founders, Seth Froom and Sean Simone invented and developed the stun gun iPhone case as tenants of the LBTC
