The LBTC was established in 1988, and has endeavored to enhance economic development in Louisiana through the support of existing small businesses and the development of new businesses. Our success as a proving ground for technology applications and utilization and as a facilitator of the formation and growth of small businesses has been recognized often over the years.
The LBTC serves small businesses and entrepreneurs providing consulting assistance in management, financial and operations, research, business and market planning, loan package preparation, business training, funding sources, and referral to accounting, legal and other service providers. Business training is provided on a variety of topics.
