LSU students will be able to take History courses for credit as part of the highly successful Academic Programs Abroad program during Summer 2014. Professors will be teaching courses under the History rubric again during trips to Paris, Ireland, Germany and Paris; and this year for the first time, Prof. Devyn Spence Benson will lead an Honors College group for a study trip to Cuba (non-Honors students also accepted).
In prior years, History faculty have accompanied students and taught courses during trips to London, Rome, China, and Greece/the Aegean. For general information about all LSU’s Study Abroad options, please visit: Academic Programs Abroad[spacer size="25"]
Study Abroad is a way to expand one’s horizons and broaden knowledge of History (and other subject areas) while in direct contact with the cultures one is studying, while traveling inexpensively… and earning course credit at the same time! The course in German history will be taught by Prof. Harald Leder of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.
