Student organization members, officers, and advisors are expected to know, understand, and abide by all university regulations. The 2012-13 Student Organization Policy Manual outlines the university’s expectations on student organization conduct. Organizations are also subject to the expectations within the LSU Code of Student Conduct.
Beyond specific rules, all organizations should aspire to conduct themselves in accordance with the LSU Commitment to Community whether on or off campus.
Reporting a Conduct Violation
To report a student organization incident, deliver the Student Organization Incident Referral Form to Campus Life, 350 LSU Student Union, or e-mail the form to us. You may also contact Campus Life (225-578-5160) or Student Advocacy and Accountability (225-578-4307) directly.
LSU may initiate the accountability process for student organizations’ alleged policy or law violations. The formal process is outlined under LSU’s Policy Statement on Due Process (Student Organizations) (PS-52).
Our resources about the Student Organization Accountability Partnership Process and Potential Student Organization Sanctions will help you navigate this process and possible outcomes.
