About LEAD Louisiana
Learn about leaders who keep alive key cultures that make Louisiana such a unique state. Visit festivals and events to celebrate how leaders preserve culture for the next generation.
Each trip requires students to attend a pre-trip meeting during the week prior to the trip.
The LEAD Louisiana program is free and open to all students, regardless of major or classification, but advance registration is required and a $15 refundable deposit is required. Students should place the cash deposit to the Campus Life office (350 LSU Student Union Building) by the registration deadline. Deposits will be returned at the start of the trip to all students who participate.
Students will purchase lunch on their own, so please plan a lunch allowance. Students will be able to apply their refunded deposit toward their lunch.
Campus Life will provide transportation, admission fees, and meals.
Students may only register for one trip at a time.
