About LSU Fall Fest
LSU Fall Fest is a university tradition that began in 1994 as the Chancellor’s official “welcome” for new students, faculty, and staff and a “welcome back” for returning members of the University family. The event was held in the LSU Quadrangle for the first twenty years.
Today, LSU Fall Fest is an event where students, faculty, and staff can come together on the LSU Parade Ground to celebrate being a part of the LSU community. LSU Fall Fest provides its community members with the opportunity to learn about different campus departments, meet new friends and classmates, enjoy free food and drinks, claim free giveaways from sponsors, and celebrate the spirit of LSU with student entertainment from the Fall Fest stage.
In 2016, PLUS Student Organization Booths
In 2016, Campus Life is adding student organization booths at Fall Fest to showcase all there is to join and all the ways to get involved at LSU. In addition to departmental tables where students can learn about LSU services and resources, they’ll be able to browse dozens of student organizations and interact with their members. Some will offer the ability to join on the spot!
The most successful and well-trafficked exhibits are creative and interactive. They draw students in to try, ask, watch, and explore. An exhibit that combines entertainment with information will ultimately be a more memorable one for the audience.
All exhibits must ensure giveaways and activities comply with LSU policy statement 19 and have approved PUR-522 forms. All exhibitors will be notified table location via e-mail the week of September 12, 2016.
No third-party entities may partner with LSU departments or student organizations to exhibit at Fall Fest 2016.
The LSU Fall Fest Committee hopes your department joins us in making this a “green” LSU Fall Fest. Bins for recycling and composting will be available when you tear down your exhibit. Please encourage and educate LSU Fall Fest attendees to use these recycling areas.
Registration for LSU department or student organization booths is open now and closes at noon Thursday, September 8 at noon. Register your booth now!
LSU Fall Fest is free and open to LSU students, faculty, staff, and prospective students and families participating in Kickoff LSU.
Tickets are not required, but everyone should bring a Tiger Card LSU ID to obtain food items.
Sponsors and Partners
LSU Fall Fest could not be possible without the help of corporate sponsors.
Sponsorship opportunities are a fun and interactive way for businesses of all sizes to appeal to LSU students, a healthy consumer demographic, while supporting a time-honored campus tradition.
