About Historic Cemetery Restoration Month
During the month of February, Volunteer LSU will be coordinating a series of cemetery clean-up projects in Baton Rouge. On February 1 and 8, work will be completed in the Sweet Olive Cemetery, the oldest African-American Cemetery in Baton Rouge. On February 15, volunteers will work in North Baton Rouge at the Mount Pilgrim Cemetery. Sign up for one or all of the projects.
One week advance registration is required for each date.
Lunch is provided, and Volunteer LSU will coordinate carpooling.
This project is free and open to all LSU and BRCC Bridge Program students, regardless of major or classification. One-week, advance online registration required.
