Senior College Specifications
Credit allowed by Undergraduate Admissions is, in all cases, subject to review by a student’s senior college, regarding if credit will apply to a particular degree. Some Senior Colleges have specific rules for transfer grades and will only accept a “C” or better for required courses, or some will only accept a particular GPA in courses applied to a major. It is recommended that students carefully review senior college requirements and consult with their prospective senior college if they have specific questions about a particular program or degree.
For all in-state two and four year public institutions, LSU participates in the Articulation Matrix which is a crosswalk of how freshman and sophomore level courses transfer amongst the state. The Articulation Matrix can be found on the Board of Regents website.
